Five reasons why you should embrace your stage fright

Writer's picture: Wolfgang HarbauerWolfgang Harbauer

Five reasons why you should embrace your stage fright 😱 and never speak in public:

1. Other people's opinions matter. Much more. So much so that you don't think your opinion and voice should be heard. Ever.

2. You have perfected your excuses for not speaking in public over the years. So if you were to start speaking in public now, that perfect list of excuses would be absolutely worthless, which would be a shame.

3. Building up your confidence is overrated. There are too many people with great self-confidence, why does the world need another one 🤷‍♂️ ?

4. Another step up the career ladder? Yes, of course it would be nice, but if you need to get out of your comfort zone and improve your public speaking, you might as well skip it.

5. Why should others care about your stories? You're thoughtful, creative and funny, yes, but why should anyone waste their time listening to you?

Do you think I am wrong? Do you think you should get rid of your stage fright, improve your public speaking skills and make your voice shine brighter 💫 ? Then you are probably on the right track!
